A 48-year-old woman, Sarabjeet Kaur, who accompanied a Sikh Jatha to Pakistan, has reportedly embraced Islam and married a Pakistani citizen, Naseer Hussain, of her own free will. She appeared before a magistrate in Sheikhupura, adopting the name Noor and stating she wished to live with her husband. Her family in India was reportedly unaware of her decision until recently.
