'Will deepen bonds of friendship': PM Modi leaves for Bhutan; embarks on two-day visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day state visit to Bhutan's Thimphu to attend the 70th birthday celebrations of the fourth king. He will hold discussions with the current King, the former King, and the Prime Minister, aiming to deepen friendship and strengthen shared progress. The visit also includes the inauguration of the Punatsangchhu-II hydropower project, a key element of their energy partnership.
